Din Tai Fung Golden Lava Salted Egg Yolk Buns

How to prepare your Golden Lava Salted Egg Yolk Buns:

  1. Half-fill a pot with water and bring to a boil over high heat.
  2. Place a steamer rack topped on top of the pot.
  3. Place the Golden Lava Salted Egg Yolk Buns (with parchment paper intact) on the steamer rack. Arrange each piece comfortably, approximately 2-3 cm apart.
  4. Cover the pot and steam over high heat for around 5 minutes, or until buns are moist and springy to the touch.
  5. Remove from the steamer using heat resistant tongs.
  6. Transfer to plate, serve hot, and eat immediately
