Din Tai Fung Chocolate Lava Xiaolongbao

How to prepare your Chocolate Lava Xiao Long Bao:

  1. Half-fill a pot with water and bring to a boil over medium heat.
  2. Place a steamer rack topped with a clean wet paper towel or cloth on top of the pot.
  3. Place the frozen Chocolate Lava Xiao Long Bao on top of the towel/cloth. Arrange each piece comfortably, approximately 2-3 cm apart.
  4. Cover the pot and steam the frozen Xiao Long Bao for around 5-6 minutes, or until wrapper is moist and soft.
  5. Gently remove from the steamer using a heat resistant tong, making sure not to tear the wrapper.
  6. Transfer to plate, serve hot, and eat immediately.
